Summary:
Shipping and receiving information systems administration to assure timely and accurate billing, receipt and shipping of material inventories and customer parts.
Essential Functions:
Generate daily transaction reports for in-coming/out-going parts and material shipments.
Responsible for inventory control and cycle counts.
Utilize SAP and other ERP systems to generate appropriate packaging paperwork for shipments.
Create routers/documents for parts returned for further processing.
Responsible for creating commercial invoices, Export Authorizations, and shippers security endorsements.
Delivery of goods and products to various in-plant locations; moves plant inventory between off-site locations as needed.
Maintain safe, clean and orderly work areas in accordance with UTC EH&S; and 5S procedures.
Prepares and/or maintains bills of lading, shipping labels, spreadsheets, routine logs and records as required.
Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals including the immediate
supervisor
, co-workers, customers, freight carriers, etc.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Nine to twelve months truck driving and/or logistics experience preferred. Candidate must pass Powered Industrial Vehicle physical and
south carolina
DOT physical to operate fork lift and delivery truck.
